UP Female Health Worker Posts Eligibility Conditions
To be eligible for the Female Health Worker Vacancy, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:
- Intermediate Exam: The candidate must have passed the intermediate examination from the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education or any equivalent recognized board.
- ANM Training: The candidate must have completed a 1.5 to 2-year Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course, which includes 6 months of midwifery training. The training must be completed under the norms of the Indian Nursing Council.
- Registration: The candidate should be duly registered with the Uttar Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council, Lucknow.
Age Limit
Minimum Age:18 years and the Maximum age is 40 years as of JULY 1,2024
- Age relaxation available for reserved categories such as SC/ST and OBC candidates.
- Individuals working on a contractual basis as Assisstant Nurse Midwives(ANM)in the health department can also avail of age relaxation based on the number of years served,with a maximum relaxation of 5 years.
UPSSSC Health Worker Recruitment Fee
- Candidates are required to pay a minimal registration fee of ₹25/-, which includes the online processing charges.
- No additional fees required for main exam (except for shortlisted candidates, who will pay a separate exam fee before downloading the admit card for the main exam).
UP Female Health Worker Selection Process
The selection process for the UPSSSC Female Health Worker Recruitment 2024 involves a main written examination. The candidates who have successfully qualified for the PET 2023 and obtained a valid scorecard are eligible to apply for the main exam.
- Shortlisting for the Main Exam: Only candidates who participated in PET 2023 and achieved a valid score will be shortlisted for the main exam.
- Written Examination: The main exam will be objective, and its date will be announced separately. The shortlisted candidates will be 15 times the number of vacancies.
- Normalization Process: If the exam is conducted over multiple sessions, a normalization process will be applied to ensure a fair evaluation.
